Welcome to Le Grand Tour, the oldest Adventure Race in Sweden!
The winner this year will be European Champions in Adventure Racing , since the competition 2010 host the AR Euro Championship.
Adventure races can be anything from one person racing for a couple of hours, to a teams effort over a whole week, the common denominator is that the contest involves a physical challenge in tough environments with sections of running, mountain biking, paddling and climbing.
Adventure racing is said to speak to the modern man. The versatility, the fellowship and the closeness to nature is something many would like include in their limited free time. We believe that adventure racing brings all that, and more.
Adventure racing requires versatile training that can include everything from mountain biking, canoeing, inlines, running, climbing, sea kayaking and white water paddling. Diverse training is fun training, and in addition you usually train together with others in a beautiful landscape. We in Karlstad Multisport, feel that Adventure Racing is a sport for the twentieth century.
We present “Le Grand Tour“.
We guarantee an Adventure Race with a mixture of new and old, stamina and pace, technique and strength, but also lots of heart! Welcome to join in the adventure.
