Intervju med Björn Rydvall i Silva Gerber Adventure

Laget bestående av frv Mattias Nyström, Björn Rydvall, Kristin Lundgren och Aaron Prince tog idag hem titeln som Eroupamästare i Adventureracing genom att vinna Le Grand Tour i Karlstad, Värmland.

The Dare Devils hunted Silva Gerber for almost 65 hours. They had a good race without any larger misstake. “We went for the wrong sleeping stragety and went to sleepy all of sudden. The time runs fast when you´re dizzy!

They led the race in Light mix until the last stage.
During the last 15 km of trekking Kjetil Watne limped badly but tried hard to keep the distance to the chasing swedes. But it didnt help. The finnished 10 minutes after the winners. Mette Pettersson where very disapointed after crossing the line…

After being behind the Norweigan team for almost the full race, the team found a ”Turbo- boost” on the last trekking. They run the full stage and passed the Norweigan team and could reach the finnish line as winners!

After being on the second place for a period during the last bike section the power ran out. The where passed by City Wolfes right before the last trekking section.
